Redline to Build Snowmobiles in West Fargo

REDLINE TO BUILD SNOWMOBILES IN WEST FARGO 9/29/03 - California-based Redline Performance Products, Inc. will produce their first high performance snowmobile, the 800 Revolt, in West Fargo, ND. Redline recently signed a contract assembly agreement to have the 800 Revolt snowmobile assembled at Interstate Power Products and Service in West Fargo. The contract runs through April of 2006 and calls for the assembly of 600-700 snowmobiles for the 2003-04 season. Production will begin November 1 of this year. According to Mark A. Payne, President and Chief Financial Officer of Redline, "The West Fargo location offers significant logistical benefits for the assembly of the 800 Revolt, as we will be able to utilize an existing supply chain that currently serves the snowmobile and ATV industry throughout the Midwestern United States." Payne also praised Fargo- Cass County Economic Development Corp. President Brian Walters and North Dakota officials for their work to keep Redline in the area following the ending of discussions with another Fargo manufacturer.
