MARKETING ND PRODUCTS TO IRELAND

The Montana World Trade Center announces an innovative new program that will allow for preliminary test marketing and limited product placement for items from the Rocky Mountain/ Plains region into Ireland. (Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, North & South Dakota, & Eastern Washington.) Four categories of products will be considered initially including specialty food/beverage, art, outdoor, and home furnishing. These categories and participation criteria are described in greater detail on the website at www.rockymountainmarket.com . Due to program restrictions, no alcoholic beverages, perishable, refrigerated, and frozen products are eligible.

Interested manufacturers should contact Brigitta Freer with the Montana World Trade Center [email protected] Tel: 406.243.6982 immediately to allow for participant selection, catalogue compilation, presentation to Irish buyers, and anticipated retail launch in September 2002. This program has been designed to secure placement for products in an appropriate retail venue/s for a period of approximately 3 months. Post program, the aim is to connect manufacturers of well-received products with potential distributors in the Irish market and perhaps elsewhere in the UK. Manufacturers need not have prior exporting experience to be considered for participation. Closing date for participant consideration is Friday, June 28.

This program has been funded in part by a grant from the Market Development Cooperator Program of the US Department of Commerce and other generous sponsors, allowing the MWTC to offer this unique opportunity to you at a fraction of the cost that would be normally be required. For a more comprehensive listing of benefits and costs, please visit the Rocky Mountain Market website. www.rockymountainmarket.com.
