ND COMPANY MAKES SLEDS FOR DISNEY PICTURES
Prairie Bilt Sleds was asked to build two sleds within 30 days for a movie being made by Disney Pictures in Vancouver, British Columbia. The silver and purple sleds are used by the actor playing the favored musher in the movie's sled dog race.
Movie prop manager Bryan Korenberg wrote a letter to the owners stating, "I was amazed at the resilience of your sleds as we put them through a variety of torture tests. They were by far the most unique of all the sleds in the movie."
